What's Your CORA Story?

Cindy Henderson is a top-notch diagnostician first of all. She is clear, to the point, and gives you homework that teaches you how to take better care of yourself; she educates you thoroughly in giving you knowledge as to how you can help yourself, be aware of posture, movement, etc. She is patient and a very caring physical therapist, but she is also a teacher. She is so good at asking just the right questions that will lead her to the answers to help you progress through treatment pain-free. She expects you to be a serious student and to do the homework that she assigns with expectations clearly defined that you do your part to help yourself. I am so grateful for her skill and care in working with me. I am never happy that I have a situation that requires me to go to physical therapy, but when I go, I really enjoy learning how to improve and take better care of my own physical health. Cindy is just magnificent!! I trust her completely and she truly wants to help her patients.

We have been going to Cindy for a while dating back to when I had knee surgery in 1996. She helped so much to be able to do the job I do now delivering Frito Lay. I also had heart surgery and she helped me with that. The Blacksburg clinic also helped me recover from my shoulder injury which caused me to have two surgeries. Cindy understands that my job is very physical and has been helping with a program to regain strength and try to keep me from having a shoulder replacement. She is great listener and teacher. I would not go anywhere else. What impresses me most is the family environment and caring therapists. The whole office tries to get you were you want to be.

I needed PT following knee replacement. The staff is very caring and accommodating to the PT needs and scheduling requirements of their patients. I will return the next time I need therapy.

I started seeing CORA for rehab following rotator cuff surgery. The care I received at CORA was professional and carefully designed for my situation. I had a lot of complications with my shoulder. Cindy and Diane worked diligently and carefully to gradually help me go from being able to barely move my right arm to looking forward to going back to the gym, swimming, fishing and doing all the things that I enjoyed before the surgery. Their dedication to their patients and their profession is exceptional. I would highly recommend them for any physical therapy need anyone may have.
