Meet our Team
Clinic Manager
Steve Merema, PT, DPT, CKTP
Steve graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2010, before completing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. Since graduating, he has received advanced training in biomechanics of the foot and is a certified Astym provider, Kinesio taping practitioner (CKTP), WorkSTEPS provider, and Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapist (Cert. VRT). As a Credentialed Clinical Instructor through American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Steve credits the dedication of his staff and patients for motivating his own passions to lead by example and ensure that each patient has the best therapy experience possible. As a part of the leadership team, he has been fortunate to work with, learn from, and lead some very special individuals constantly striving to convey the company’s values through action and make sure each employee knows they are a valued, integral part of success.
Regional Work Comp Specialist
Danielle Bauman, ATC, CEASII
Danielle graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, from McKendree University. She worked in the secondary school setting and then moved into the industrial/occupational field. She has a special passion for working with “industrial athletes” to design work-specific/work conditioning programs to help injured workers return to their occupation. Additionally, she works onsite with employees and employers to help mitigate injury risk in the workplace utilizing her skills in ergonomics to develop and implement injury prevention or reduction programs. In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors, participating in leisure activities like boating, fishing, and hiking.
