What's Your CORA Story?
CORA helped treat my lower back pain. Sincere staff, very informative, and friendly is what impressed me most. Excellent experience.
The staff was outstanding! The facility was the cleanest I have ever been treated in. They were constantly wiping the machines and other equipment when it was marked dirty and they enforced the COVID-19 rules. I actually enjoyed my rehab with the cheerful staff.
I started PT in April in the midst of Covid-19. CORA is extremely clean keeping your safety in mind. Everyone is mandated to wear a mask and employees are constantly cleaning. The openness of the building is comfortable and provides a safe environment. The entire staff is professional, friendly and helpful. From the minute you walk in, May at the front desk is personable and their to assist you. The supervising therapist, Cat, is outstanding at determining the proper treatment for your health issues. Richard and Jim work hard at prescribing the proper stretches and exercises to meet your needs. They all work together to target the physical therapy you need. Not only are they all very knowledgeable, but more importantly they care that the physical therapy they prescribe works towards your healing. I have been going to physical therapy at CORA for 20 weeks now and will continue my treatment. The progress I have seen so for is wonderful, not only physically but mentally as it’s crucial to see I’m getting better. I highly recommend CORA in New Smyrna Beach.
Trochanteric bursitis of the hip is what brought me to CORA. The staff was very friendly and caring. They took the time to explain the exercises needed. They made sure I had written instructions to take home with me and then explained how I can go online for further help if needed. I'd highly recommend the New Smyrna Beach facility and their staff.
My doctor recommended CORA when I needed physical therapy. Outstanding and caring staff is what impressed me most. Jim, Ken and Cat are great. I was apprehensive at first but this team is working with me and I am doing much better. I would recommend them to family and friends.
The staff at the clinic were so welcoming from the day I first stepped foot inside. Everyone made a point of learning your name and always referred to you by name. The place was always cleaned after each person used the equipment and masked were always worn. Cat who runs the place knows her stuff and really works with every client several times during the weeks you are scheduled. She is always so sweet and upbeat. She keeps you motivated and is encouraging when you get frustrated. She changes up routines so it doesn’t get boring doing the same things day after day. My other therapist Richard kept me going. He, too, kept a positive attitude and encouraged me along the way. He also would change up exercises to keep it from getting monotonous. Always checking to make sure I was doing ok or if I was in any pain. Just can’t praise the staff enough. The front desk always took temperatures when you came in and cleaned pens when you signed in. Always a welcome hello and a goodbye when you left to everyone. They knew everyone by name. I always looked forward to my sessions. I felt better when I left than when I arrived and was able to regain normal movement after rotator cuff repair.
Neck pain. I could not ride in a car without a neck brace, bumps in the road and even walking hurt my neck. I could not sleep with anything more than a 1 inch pillow, and just to turn my head caused a headache. May was the first person I met at CORA, she was a very kind and caring receptionist. Cat evaluated me and created my therapy plan. She was very kind, caring, professional and knowledgeable. Jim was my main therapist. He was very helpful and followed the plan laid out by Cat for all of my therapy. I am so much improved. Jim gave me all my exercises to do at home. He was a great therapist! I'd give them 10 stars if I could. What impressed me most during my time at the New Smyrna Beach location was the kind, caring and professional staff. I’d recommend CORA to anyone in need of physical therapy services.
A sore back brought me to CORA. Friendliness and professional therapists is what impressed me most. Kat and her crew were very friendly! The place felt like home! Very professional! Very clean and sanitized!
Professional treatment by the entire staff including May, Cat, Richard and Jim. Three months ago, during September, I found myself on the floor in the middle of the night. I was unable to get up as my legs were weak. I was able to call 911 and the fire department got me up and into bed. My doctor prescribed CORA Physical Therapy in New Smyrna Beach, FL. At first, I didn’t think it was going to do me any good, but I was wrong. From May’s welcome to the work with Cat, Jim and Richard I experienced expert treatment. The staff was professional and pleasant to work with. They had me doing exercises that I enjoyed. I am now doing things that I never imagined I would be able to do. I recommend them to everyone. They were great for me and a real asset to the community. Thank you May, Cat, Jim and Richard!
I choose CORA because of it's location close to my home. The staff was very aware of my condition and gave me successful therapies that allowed me to feel able to function normally after my sessions to treat Vertigo. Dr. Cat Morgan is an asset to your company!
The staff was excellent. The ease and flexibility to make appointments. Overall just a great experience from front desk to PT staff.
I was recovering from reverse shoulder replacement. Went to CORA because of the location to home. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The ladies at front desk worked with you on scheduling changes as needed. I was first diagnosed by Cat but, most of my treatment was overseen by Danielle. Danielle was very knowledgeable and understanding. I would highly recommend this facility.
Post neck surgery rehabilitation is what brought me to CORA. I was impressed with everything. Great therapists and facility, plus very kind and friendly people. My condition improved dramatically.
I've dealt with Psoriatic Arthritis for a number of years. It finally got to the point I had trouble walking due to a knee. I started having Stem-cell injections and was sent to CORA for my PT. They all were very caring and helpful during my entire time there. I want to thank May, Jess, Doctor Cat, Ricky, and James. Even when busy, they'd take time to listen, encourage, and make sure you were never pushing yourself beyond what you should.
Shoulder and hip issues are what brought me to CORA. The length of time spent with each patient is above and beyond. The CORA facility in New Smyrna Beach has very helpful therapists who are attentive and interested in your progress. I came a long way in just 8 weeks and would recommend this clinic to anyone.
I am immensely impressed with the knowledgeable and caring service I've received at this clinic. The entire staff is efficient, dedicated and encouraging! From Mae and Jessica at reception to therapists Cat, Richard, Danielle, Jim and student Austin are extremely attuned and responsive to each patient's needs. They communicated constantly with my surgeon to advise him of my progress. The attention to safety and cleanliness was excellent and made it comfortable. Most of all, they made me feel like I was heard and cared about.
Rehabilitation for a knee replacement brought me to CORA. What impressed me most was everyone’s effort to get you back in shape. They did a fantastic job. Will go back when I do the second knee. Great people.
My first experience with CORA Physical Therapy was several years ago. My doctor sent me for therapy due to two bulging discs in my neck. They used a combination of heat, electro stim and traction after exercising. I felt great after every session and my neck issues were resolved. I just finished up therapy for a reverse shoulder replacement. I was very weak and had limited range of motion. After 12 weeks I have much better range of motion and I'm stronger, even my doctor was very impressed with my improvement. Thanks CORA! You guys are great!
Convenient appointment times, and knowledgeable staff. The exercises helped to strengthen my legs and improve my balance. I'd recommend this clinic to anyone in need of rehabilitation.
I showed up after two weeks of in home therapy and I had a long way to go, my hamstrings are excessively tight and I was in considerable discomfort. Bending AND straightening were painful.
I can't believe 8 weeks later how fantastic that knee feels, walked all over Smyrna Dunes Park today with my 75 lb dog yanking on me the entire hour and I feel fine.
