What's Your CORA Story?
My doctor prescribed physical therapy and I am so glad that I found CORA. I was impressed with the quality of work done by the therapists and their helpers. I personally observed them numerous times go above and beyond their normal responsibilities to help me and other patients. I would like to commend all of the listed staff members for their dedication and professionalism. Ms. Rebeca Correalima (therapist), Ms. Veronica Sprague (therapist), Mr. Alexis Gomez (student) and Mr. Shahad Hasboun (tech). These CORA staff members are a definite asset to the company. To all of them, thank you. Your dedication is appreciated.
The personal attention to my knee pain situation, especially by Rebecca and Veronica, during therapy is what impressed most. Whatever ails you, can be improved by these professionals. I highly recommend CORA.
Translation: What brought me to CORA was my L hip replacement and L knee arthroscopy. I was most impressed with the staff’s level of professionalism and especially the highest level of humanity before people in dealing with older populations and those in need of improving their independence. I recommend this clinic. I was a manager prior to my retirement and I congratulate CORA for putting this team together.
Emily is a special need child who had surgery on both knees. Veronica Sprague has been working with her, and has been so sweet to her. She spends the time needed with her, and Emily has made great progress continuing to advance with Veronica. Carlos Pereira has also worked with Emily during times that Veronica has gone on vacation; he is also great. The PSC's girls are amazing, dealing with the patient giving the correct and necessary information. Maria Narvaez, Emily Villalba and Ellen Delgado are all incredible at what they do.
The staff knowledge, professionalism and dedication to each patient is noticeable. I would like to acknowledge the therapists that worked with me on my recovery workouts: Veronica Sprague, Carlos Pereira, Justin Felipe and Briana McCord. Each one did an amazing job keeping me on track for recovery from cervical neck surgery. They have a playful but professional attitude and approach to ones needs and fear of pain. I will always be grateful to each of them for not allowing me to take the easy way out. Embedded in my brain, there is never a shortcut to recovery and pain management. Additionally, there is no way that one can forget the Administrative Staff, and their pleasantries as you walked in the door became infectious. They are a fantastic group of women who care about you as much as the therapists. Maria Navarez, Emily Villalba and Ellen Delgado are professionals in their attitude towards anyone who walks or rolls through the doors. No one could ask for a better group.
I reached out to my therapist of many moons ago, Teresa Kay Glynn, when I hit another crisis moment with my neck and back issues. She helped put me in contact with CORA and Rebecca Correlima. As I told Teresa after my initial visit to CORA, the best compliment I could give Rebecca is that she was as close to a caring and capable therapist as Teresa was. Due to my work schedule, Rebecca had me also work with Veronica Sprague. Veronica is an incredible therapist who is knowledgeable, and good at multi-tasking with detailed attention to care as a therapist, assistant, and she even did the laundry! She continues to try different strategies with my therapy to relieve my pain and strengthen my neck muscles. Veronica also reminds me of Teresa as she is always trying to find ways to help me get better feel better, and thinking outside the box. I'd recommend CORA Physical Therapy in West Dade for patients in need of physical therapy.
My experience with CORA rehabbing from knee surgery was very positive. First impression is that the place is very clean and organized, but the most important aspect is its people. The therapists and staff are wonderful. Always willing to help, good vibes and positive energy all around the place. I will always have a special place in my heart for all the therapists that helped me and still help me in my recovery, and in particular to those who worked the most with me, Rebecca and Veronica. They will get to know your capabilities better than yourself, you will get pushed to do better every day (no excuses), no nonsense. You show up, you do your job and let them do theirs and you'll improve. Period.
I cut my right palm and pinkie & index finger while cutting up a fish and had surgery at Miami Hand Surgery to re-connect two tendons and repair the nerve. The confident professionals who make you feel at home, specifically Yesenia Riveron, have been so dedicated to my injury treatment. She is kind and honest and a hard working professional, as is her associate 'Kate'....Love you all at CORA; I will miss you when I’m all done with my therapy. Keep up the good work.....You people are the best!
