What's Your CORA Story?
A broken tibia, fibula, and ankle is what brought me to CORA. I had hardware implants and couldn’t walk at all. In total, my rehab was a 7 month process to get me on my feet again. Ryan and Alma made me feel important, positive about my recovery and became friends in the end. Very professional individuals, who were dedicated to my recovery, pushed me to the limits and made me walk to the best of my “new” abilities. Ryan and Alma went above and beyond my expectations in my treatment, pushed for continued treatment, and taught me skills and exercises to continue my treatment at home. In my past experiences, physical therapy establishments were not as personal or as caring. I highly recommend this facility and urge anyone in the Wilmington area to choose Ryan and Alma, such a great team!
Tabitha Tuttle-Northway
I tore my hamstring, severely, after taking a fall from a ladder. My orthopedic surgeon at Duke Sports Medicine and I were looking for a progressive PT center in Wilmington that offered more advanced recovery workouts. We tried CORA as they told him that they employed the types of PT that we needed. Ryan led my recovery program that took me from a walker, post-surgery, to riding my bike again on the beach, hiking and now building back the strength and endurance that I had pre-injury. They listened to my goals and we built a plan to achieve them. Huge thanks to Ryan, Catelin and Alma...a powerful team.
