Ashley McFadden is fantastic! After running cross country in high school, I developed IT band issues in my very early 20’s that would flare up every time I ran a mile, at most. I could ride a bike 100 miles, but running was not an option. After spending over 12 years ‘just dealing with it’, I finally decided to give physical therapy a try. Ashley was able to identify the root cause muscle imbalance, design a program of stretching and strength-training, and help provide enthusiasm and motivation to stick with it. I’m now regularly running 10k’s, and training for a multi-disciplinary adventure race, all without the IT band knee pain that would have crippled me for days previously after a run.
