When it comes to patients’ hands, we don’t play around.
You can trust that CORA’s Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) are either physical or occupational therapists, each with more than five years of experience and more than 4,000 hours in the practice of hand therapy. All of our CHTs pass a national certification exam covering advanced techniques and theories on hand and upper-extremity injuries. And all are required to recertify their credentials every five years.
This distinction is critical. Patients in need of hand therapy suffer from such a large variety of maladies—congenital, post-op, crush injuries, tendonitis, tendon repairs or transfers, fractures, carpal tunnel, soft tissue injuries, amputations, De Quervain’s, epicondylitis, neuromuscular disorders, arthritis, RSD and so much more. Regardless of whether surgical or nonsurgical, we know we can provide the expert care, support and service that can restore function as quickly as possible.
And that’s a task that we take very seriously.
