What's Your CORA Story?
I started seeing CORA for back and shoulder neck pain. Everyone in the clinic was friendly, courteous and helpful. All of the procedures the staff had me doing were of help to my pain, and by the end of my time at CORA I was without any pain.

I had a partial knee replacement on September 4, 2020 and was referred to CORA Valrico by my surgeon, Dr. Maddalon. I was seen 3 times weekly for rehab, principally by Yelitza. I was made to feel very welcomed every day, was given compassionate rehab exercises (some of which were uncomfortable, but effective). The entire staff went out of their way to be friendly and assist my recovery. Yelitza herself, although very busy, took a particular interest in my rehab and was never rushed to complete my exercises. I took particular note that the staff all seemed very comfortable and happy to be with each other at this facility. I would highly recommend rehab at CORA Valrico; I wouldn't go anywhere else if I need rehab in the future.
Dr. Paul Reid
Every therapist there was knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, friendly, asked questions and listened. It was obvious that they cared about my well-being and were constantly encouraging me on. Yelitza spent a lot of time with me, grafting and working to displace the fluid around my knee, and worked hard on getting my muscles back into shape. I was also impressed with how they encouraged and trained interns, explaining how and why they did specific therapies to specific patients.

The physical therapists here are extremely good and very professional. Steffi Tirador Alvarez and Aileen Rivera Duprey are the two therapists that worked on me the most when I rehabbed my shoulder injury from a bike crash. They were extremely helpful in me getting my shoulder back in shape. From the exercises chosen down to the massages and heat therapy applied to my shoulder. Super work by two gifted therapists!

I was referred to CORA because of severe pain in my right hip. The entire team was great, but Steffi was the best. She clearly wanted me to get better without rushing the process and taught me exercises that I could continue after I was discharged. The best part of my time there was that Steffi's no-nonsense approach got results. This was the first time after numerous PT experiences with other facilities that any therapist actually put hands on my hip to work out the problems with my muscles and joints. Steffi knows how to push the patient and she does it in a way that makes the patient a part of the healing process and not just another customer.

I had been suffering a pain on my right leg for two years now. I could not walk on it after 15 minutes. The pain would start from my right hip down through my right leg, ending in extreme pain. After various therapy sessions at CORA, laying on a padded table, I felt a bump on my right side above the hip after moving side to side. It was a specific spot that hurt. I told Emily (my therapist) about it in my next appointment. Laying on a padded table, she applied a therapy technique, which entailed placing my right leg over her shoulder, pushing on it and raising my left leg slightly for five seconds five times. I was hesitant at first because she is advanced in pregnancy. Her insisting, I did. Then miraculously the bump was gone. I was able now to walk on my right leg with no pain. After that therapy session, on returning home, I took a .2 mile walk. On my way back home, I didn't experience the pain. I cried. At Cora they are all great Therapists. Emily had that specific insight that cured me. Thank-you Emily.

I was most impressed with the combination of physical exercises and massage therapy. I was in a car accident and my PCM referred me to CORA for therapy. The staff was amazing. I started with Emily and Steven then worked mostly with Aileen. Each of them did an excellent job. My back and shoulder pain was gone by the time a completed my sessions with them.
Thank you all!
