Meet our Team
Clinic Manager
Elizabeth Zierke, PT, DPT
Elizabeth is a graduate of Marquette University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Concordia University Wisconsin.
Elizabeth has experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine, acute inpatient care, inpatient rehabilitation and women’s health. She continues to expand her knowledge base and clinical skills through ongoing clinical education courses. She enjoys extending her expertise in a clinical education role through mentorship programs with Marquette University and UW-Milwaukee. Her special interests include ACL and hip injury prevention, biomechanical analysis, sport-specific individualized treatment programs, industrial rehabilitation, and core conditioning. Elizabeth is actively involved with the Milwaukee Fire Department’s Tactical Athlete Initiative, which involves streamlining the healthcare experience for injured firefighters and getting them back on the job as quickly as possible.
Elizabeth practices a holistic treatment approach that focuses individualized age-appropriate patient care. She believes in taking the time to educate the patient regarding their conditions and allowing them to be active participants in treatment and the establishment of goals. Elizabeth utilizes strong manual therapy skills and a customized biomechanical assessment to design functional exercises to optimize appropriate joint mobility and stability throughout the body. This treatment approach allows for a mutually beneficial physical therapy experience and consistent positive outcomes.
