Manual Therapy

This is where patients find their “Ahhhhh.”

First, our highly trained therapists and clinicians listen. They pay close attention to where patients identify pain or stiffness. Then they marry skilled, highly effective hand movements with passive joint and soft-tissue movements. The combination mobilizes tight soft tissues and joints, decreases pain and reduces swelling, inflammation and restriction. It also, our patients are happy to report, has a relaxing effect.

The outcomes of manual therapy are as much physical as they are emotional. Increased movement is often accompanied by a heightened sense of wellbeing. Which explains why, when manual therapy is prescribed, you’ll hear a CORA patient say, “Yes!”
