CORA Health Services, Inc., doing business as CORA Physical Therapy (“CORA”), a top-10 national operator of outpatient physical therapy services, announced today One Year, One Bedford, an anniversary event to celebrate CORA Bedford’s delayed grand opening in Bedford County. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 5 and is set to take place at 1380 American Way Ct. Unit C.
The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to kick off the festivities with a ribbon cutting ceremony from 11:30 am -12:30 pm EDT to officially welcome CORA Physical Therapy to the Bedford area, initially delayed last November due to the pandemic. Later that evening from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm EDT, CORA cordially invites families and area businesses to attend One Year, One Bedford, an open house to commemorate CORA’s one-year anniversary since opening.
“It has been a pleasure caring for patients in Bedford County over this past year,” said Michael Palmer, MPT, MHA. “I look forward to continuing to meet the therapy needs of this friendly, close-knit community,”
The anniversary event beginning at 5:00 pm EDT will feature guided tours of the facility, treatment demonstrations, raffles with local door prizes, and goodie bags for attendees. Food and drink options will be provided along with fun for the whole family as we celebrate one year of service and togetherness amongst local businesses and community partners.
Participating businesses, include Insight Healing Studio (massage therapist and yoga instructor), Blissful Bake Treats, Blackwater Creek Catering, Sharp Top CrossFit and more of Bedford’s local favorites.
“Since restrictions prevented us from holding an event last November, we thought One Year, One Bedford represented such a great opportunity to welcome Bedford to CORA and, most importantly, underscore what has become such a special and unique place for us,” said Ron Greer, CORA Regional Manager.
Bedford’s design reflects a new prototype look for CORA, designed to create a warmer, more welcoming, and comfortable environment for patients. Licensed clinicians offer treatment for general orthopedic and sports injuries, post-COVID recovery programs, pre- and post-operative care, vertigo and balance disorders, chronic pain, and workplace injuries and workers’ comp solutions.
As with all CORA clinics, Bedford is taking extra precautions to adhere to the health and safety of both patients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, with scheduling and check-in protocols for all appointments.
