What's Your CORA Story?
What impressed me most during my time at CORA is the friendliness and compassion of staff. The "Cheers" of Orange City - Where Everyone Knows Your Name!! Once again, for the fourth time, I have gone to CORA in Orange City – this time for a lower back issue caused by scoliosis and what might turn out to be a herniated disk. The facility is like one big happy family. Everyone is compassionate, caring, friendly and helpful. With their differing personalities, all of the therapists in their own way have wonderful "bedside manners". The front office staff, from Ginny (the office manager and an excellent therapist as well) to Bobbie and Melissa, make you feel very welcome when you arrive to check in and again when you leave. I heartily recommend the Orange City, FL clinic to everyone.
Our teenage daughter Amiah is an athlete. She has had three sports injuries in the past year. Two of the injuries resulted in surgery. The staff in Orange City took Amiah under their wing as if she were their own. Since May she has had therapy several times a week. The staff is always welcoming, encouraging and caring. They even recognized a new injury and referred her to the orthopedic before her primary doctor did. Jenny (the manager) is always spot on when it comes to motivating her with what she can and cannot physically do sports wise. They are always prompt with providing the specialist with progress notes. Shelby and Ashley always give her positive encouragement and work with her day in and day out. They have helped us understand exactly where she is in the healing process and always make thorough observations. Although it has been a long year for our daughter, she always leaves their office with a smile and a feeling of encouragement! Melissa at the front desk is wonderful! The entire staff is very inviting and makes you feel right at home. We couldn’t ask for our daughters’ recovery to be in better hands! We would highly recommend the CORA Orange City office and would like to sincerely thank each and every member of the Orange City staff from the bottom of our hearts for taking such great care of Amiah!
I have an amputation on my right leg, and started out with home health care. They came in twice a week and treated me the best they could, then they said I need advanced therapy. They told me about CORA and so I went in. What impressed me most during my time at CORA was the caring nature of my therapist, Jennifer Green. She moved me along at a slow and steady pace. She was also concerned about any discomfort I had in my stump and any concerns in my prosthetic leg. Jennifer is very knowledgeable in care of how a prosthetic operates and that was comforting for me. I will still be with her for several more weeks. Thank you for having a very caring and very knowledgeable therapist in her field. I will never forget Jennifer and how much she is doing for me to improve my lifestyle, including her skills and her compassion she has with the patients she treats.
I was very impressed with every person that worked with me during my rehab. Ginny was amazing and she helped answer all my questions and more so that I was comfortable at each stage of recovery! Jen, Shelby, Ashley, and Kevin, all helped me get to where I needed to be. The front office staff, Melissa, Christie, and Rosa were always cheerful and encouraging and that lifted my spirits. All in all, I had a very, very positive experience here at the Orange City CORA location. I highly recommend CORA in Orange City, Florida.
A clean facility, big windows for light and airiness, a relaxing, quiet atmosphere, very friendly staff and therapists who asked the right questions and gave consistent care to me.
The staff are very friendly and extremely good at what they do. From the front desk to the very experienced physical therapy assistants. They worked me and relaxed me working the muscles that I had strained, increasing my strength and my determination to gain back my control.
I love how all of the therapists at the clinic work together and when I walked in everyone was able to take care of me.
If it hadn't been for all the staff - Ginny, Ashley, Jenn, Shelby and Kevin - pushing me, I don't think I would have gotten through this surgery. Always helpful, always a smile and everyone here including the front desk staff - Melissa, Rosa & Christie - knows you by name. I'm so thankful for all the care they gave me here to move on with my surgery.
