What's Your CORA Story?
I had five surgical procedures on my right knee in 2019, which were followed up with stints at CORA South County for physical therapy. The staff took time to review my situation and designed programs to get me back to optimum physical shape. I also was provided exercise programs that I could do at my home to continue rehabilitation of my extremely balky knee. It's taken a while, but I've moved from being bed-ridden, to a wheel chair, to a walker, to a cane, and now, finally, walking freely; all thanks in no small part to the dedicated team of professionals at this facility. The staff was very well prepared for every session and the time was parceled out virtually to the minute so that I realized the maximum benefit of each visit.

Severe pain and lack of mobility due to a spinal fracture brought me to therapy. What has impressed me most is the sincere caring attitude of the whole staff. From the receptionist, student, therapists, and manager, everyone has been trying their best to help me to attain the highest level of physical function that I can attain. From a patient’s perspective, this is a very important part of the healing process.
I could barely walk or even sit upright when I began treatment. Now, I am back to walking my dog, and taking care of my home, to the best of my current abilities. I feel strongly that this trend will continue throughout my last few visits with CORA. I send a heartfelt THANKS to the entire staff.

EVERY one that works with you is dedicated to YOU and your recovery!! They are kind, make sure you understand and never give up on making you want to do your best. I feel it is a privilege to work with them and have excelled my doctor's expectations. When my session ends it is always with sadness.

The employees at CORA were spectacular. Friendly and caring. My therapist, Katie Boxdorfer, was off the chart. Professional and just a very cool person.
I want Katie Boxdorfer to know that I've been pain-free for 3 months. I was almost healed when my insurance cut off my sessions. I kept doing all the exercises Katie taught me and was totally pain free within 2 weeks. Thanks, Katie! You are the best! My orthopedic doctor was very impressed!
