Multi-Cervical Unit is the Key to Your Recovery

Apr 05 2019 | CORA Development Team

multi-cervical-unit
Our Multi-Cervical Unit allows our staff to take accurate measurements of a patients’ range of motion, isolate movements at a desired segment and build strength in areas that may be weak.

Movement is the key to your recovery.

And the Multi-Cervical Unit or MCU is no exception. Our MCU provides clinicians with real-time objective data regarding cervical range-of-motion and strength for state of the art evaluations. In addition it allows patients to be treated in all three planes of motion; flexion-extension, side bending and rotation. Whether neck pain has been caused by a traumatic injury such as a motor vehicle accident, or chronic degenerative changes, the MCU provides the clinician with the proper tools for assessment and treatment.

The Multi-Cervical Unit at our CORA Physical Therapy Spine Center provides a quick, easy to read 1-page summary of the patient’s performance for doctors and is used for rehab – based on the baseline testing it uses a formula that tells our certified therapists the resistance needed to strengthen the neck compared to health norms of your same age and gender.

Are you experiencing back pain and looking to regain full range of motion?
